iPod chooses a different song than I choose

When I select a song, once in a while the iPod chooses the song right below that song, rigth after that song in the same playlist. Is this a general problem that everyone has, or am I unique? I'm using the new 30gb.

Yes, whenever I choose song #1, the Ipod always goes to song #2, I always have to hit the back button to go to song 1!! Very annoying. Don't know why that is.Del Griffith at 2007-11-15 15:06:49 >

Its the only gripe I have with this #### thing......I love it so much but this little quirk is the only thing annoying me at the moment. I'm hoping this can be fixed with a simple firmware update. I will pray...:)psxguy85 at 2007-11-15 15:07:48 >

maybe this (http://www.xsorbit1.com/users/dennx/index.cgi?board=ipodnew&action=display&num=1052377981&start=14) link will help.this actually sounds like an old bug from the old ipods. this was one solution, try pressing play on the playlist. then the first song ought to be selected. if you select the playlist with the middle button and then press play on the first track, it gets skipped.
i thought this bug was resolved after the firmware upgrades?!
