Dunno if anyone else has had the luck (sorta) that i had.
Basically I got my Ipod and couple of weeks ago but i never managed to get it work. Problem with connecting it to my PC.
So i started the process to get it fixed through the service centre. But then a mate said that if it was broken within 14 days it's 'DOA' and you can get it replaced. So after a short call to a helpful girl at Apple sales, it got DHL'd off. And when I say it...the packaging they sent me was the size of the IPod...not the box, so that was all i sent.
One week later the Ipod was returned to me fully functioning and i am most happy with the wee gizmo. But the thing is...they sent me a completly new model off the shelf...fully boxed!! So i got a spare set of 'phones, charger, remote and dock. Bonus!!
I must say, i am very impressed if this is standard...their way to apologise for the inconvience! Much kudos to Apple if it is.
Anyone else have this happen?
