Ive broke the cable
Well well. One day I wanted to make the light Red for my iPod. Everything was fine, but the cable that connects the HD now is broke.
I send it to a guy to fix it, he said it should work, but its not.
How can i get a new cable like that?

I don't understand. What red light? What cable broke? The firewire cable from your older iPod to your computer? Or your hub (newer iPod) or what? Where did it break? What does it look like? We need more details to provide assistance.

im talkin about the internal cable tha connects the hard drive to the motherboard of the iPod. Mine is the 20gb iPod.
I opened it to put a redpaper in front of the display. It was all right but the cable screwed.
Thats why im looking for someone that has a broken iPodtoo, or somewhere I can find these cable

not too sure on this one, but the (connector-) cable ought to be fairly standard, so try taking it to a computer store. show them your ipod and the cable and see what they have to say. if that doesn?t work maybe an electronics store?

Your INTERNAL hard drive cable is broken?
The cable that connects the iPod's hard drive to the iPod's system board is broken?
Unless you or someone you know can plug it in or otherwise repair, you should seek professional service. But don't count on your warranty being valid if you've opened the iPod up yourself.
I know of nowhere on earth that an end user such as you or I can buy the cable that connects your iPod's hard drive to your iPod's system board. It is not a user-replacable part, from what my instincts tell me.
Good luck.

Okay after looking at some pictures of the ipod taken apart via the ipodlounge, I have some grave news to tell you. You are screwed. That cable is proprietary to the iPOD and the iPOD only. That is a cable made special. Your only way of getting your iPOD fixed is sending it in. And since you opened it you are pretty much screwed because you voided your warranty. Your only way of repairing the iPOD is to find a 20GB that is broke to crap (ebay) and then use if for spare parts or send it in and have them charge you a couple of hundred bucks.
