Extended Service Plan?
My 15GB iPod was purchased from an Apple store. It hasn't been opened yet. Sounds like most people are purchasing some sort of extended service program. Is this still the route to go? Should I return the iPod to the Apple store and purchase it from CompUSA/Best Buy with their corresponding TAP/ PSP? Thanks for any advice.

Okay, if you search the forums you will find numerous topics on this discussion, so here is the short version:
CompUSA Tap: Some CompUSA stores will allow you to get a TAP for and iPod ($50) if you bought it some place else. If you decide to go this route I would talk to a manager at your CompUSA store. Also, some people have had problems with their TAPS and iPods so I would do a little bit more research.
BestBuy PSP: BestBuy offers a $40 4-year Product Service Plan which is basically extended warranty for your iPod. BestBuy will only sell you a PSP if you bought the iPod from them. Depending on what BestBuy you go to they will just give you a new iPod if your iPod breaks and then transfer the PSP to the new iPod. Again I would check with a manager and sort out all of the details before you make your purchase.
Good luck in your decision!
