All you need is a simple 3.5mm jack to Stereo RCA lead (assuming that your amp has RCA inputs). Any electronics store would have one.

What I want is a Aux Line-Out lead that attaches to the dock connector on the iPod. No such animal yet unless someone knows of one?

Why can't you use the Belkin auto charger from the line out on the ipod and a short stereo mini jack cable from the Belkin line out to the aux line in on your head unit? At least until someone comes up with a cable with one end for the line out on the ipod, and a mini jack on the other end. I'm actually surprised someone like Belkin or ExtremeMac doesn't already have one. Drop them a line and ask if they have given it any consideration. One problem is the lack of head units with aux line in's. If anyone is really knowlegable about auto head units, a sticky with a list of those models would be really helpful. Anyone?
BTW, you wouldn't want to use the headphone jack to run to the head unit anyway. What you want is to use the line out on the bottom of the unit. A cable with that terminal, and a mini jack on the other end would be cool.

The Belkin Auto Kit is the first 3rd party iPod application to use the Line-out from the dock connector. I think it is an excellent product but I have 2 issues with it.

1) It has a small pre-amp in the unit with a volume control. I want true Line-out from the iPod to the Line-in on my head unit (only one volume control, better sound quality).

2) I don't want all the wires everywhere...possible solution...plug the Belkin unit into a hidden cigarette lighter socket behind the dash...better solution...put a dock in the cup-holder & wire it underneath the center console.
