Car charger and cassette adaptor
Finally, what's peoples general take on cases? Are they necessary or just something else that takes away the money?

Have finally ordered myself an Ipod after almost going the route of the Zen. Anyway, all I need now is a car charger (something cheap and simple to go in the cigarette lighter. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also can any cassette adaptor be used with the ipod? I've got one lying around from when I used to stick my Creative Labs jukebox in the car.

I have a griffin car charger on order, but haven't received it yet. It is pretty cheap, but I have hopes. The cassette adapter works pretty well. I have one and it sounds beter than AM radio, and better than most FM stations as well, maybe not quite as good as a CD. The case issue. Yes you need a case. I ordered one from Apple but it's on back order. The iPOD is very highly polished and easily scratched even by non-metallic objects such as the casing on a ball point pen.
