iPod with USB?
Hello everyone!
I was recently considering getting a new 10 gig iPod, but considering that my PC doesn't have a firewire port, I was wondering if I needed to buy any external cables or other accessories so that I can transfer mp3s to my iPod. Can anyone tell me if the new iPods come with the necessary cables already, or if I have to buy a USB connector? Thanks.

you will need to buy the usb cable from apple...
but i bet most people here would recommand getting a firewire card installed. it's cheap and easy to install, and you will have other future use of a firewire card. not to metion it's faster then USB2.0 in real life:)

I actually have both the firewire cables (included) and the usb 2.0. I had gotten a laptop from work and it has usb 2.0 and no firewire, so I bought the firewire cables from apple. I can tell you that it is very fast, I don't know the exact numbers but the difference between firewire and usb 2.0 is not huge.
