Does anybody have any info? Just wondering if one will be released in the near future.

DLO took out a full-page ad announcing the 3G TransPod in the latest MacAddict, announcing it's "Coming this Fall".In addition, my email to them before that asked the same question, and they told me that they were working on it and it would be "released soon".
It's pretty cool looking, with a tiny LCD (not unlike the iPod's) noting what frequency it's broadcasting on.
I'm already waiting with baited breath...
