iTrip does not blink when setting new frequency

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I'm using a iTrip for my 2nd-gen 10GB iPOD windows version, and as I click "Play/Pause" on a desired frequency from the station list, the blue LED does not blink, and the iPOD seems to be scanning my station list, or tryting to play them as .mp3 files.

Any clues? Or does it sound like a defect?

Any help is appreciated..=)

Does it actually play the files (5seconds) or just seem to skip to the next?

ya...it actually plays for a couple of seconds before skipping to the next frequency...

i emailed Griffin's support today and they think it is a defect...

have you seen anything like this?

Hmm,don't think this is a defect,i have the same problems sometimes..

The solution...

This happens on my ipod(5gb) after i transfer files,it seems as if some mp3 ####s up the itrip..

This weekend i transfered like 50 mp3's over 2 my ipod, assorted songs, then i couldn't change frequenzy on the itrip, the itrip didn't blink fast or 3 times,so i deleted the 50mp3's.. then it worked again.. and some mp3 also ####s up the itrip sending, strange, some mp3's actually makes the itrip stop sending..

So you could try to delete the mp3's you've transfered before the itrip stoped working..

Don't know if this is the solution, but it worked for me..
