Connecting to Car Stereo
My new 15gig iPod will arrive in a week or two and I have a couple of questions.
First, what is the easiest and best way to play my iPod through the car stereo? The car stereo is FM/CD.
Second, I will use my iPod in England primarily so have a UK AC adpater, but do I have to buy the Apple branded travel adapter? It sort of implied this in the literature on their website or will any travel adapter work?
Many thanks,
PS: So #### excited!

As a Brit living in the US I can help on this one. You don't need to buy the Mac travel kit, any one will do. All iPod chargers work on a range of 110-240 volts so all you need is an adapter to change the plug shape for whatever country you are visiting. Radio Shack or Tandy (do they still exist?) do a decent range ususally.

Very well then, Apple have had enough of my money already and good ole Tandy (yes they still exist) can get my service.
How long you been living in the US of A? I am very jealous not only because I would like to make it their for a stint myself and also as tech goods are dirt cheap.
I now live in Germany and it is even more expensive here and understanding the small print is no small feat let me tell you.
Anyway, thanks much for the advice.
