iTrip Stations in Shuffle!
I saw how to fix this in a thread before but now can't find it, it's driving me nuts. How do I set the pod so the iTrip stations do not play during shuffle mode, without turning them off in iTunes? Any help appreciated!

I ended up creating a different playlist for each of the 3 or 4 stations that worked for me, which makes it pretty much impossible to inadvertantly change frequencies.
For the record, the iTrip did not work well at all for me. I am having much better luck with the CenDyne Gruv-X, which is also simpler to use.

ok I'm a bit confused. Your solution doesn't seem to solve anything. Creating seperate playlists doesn't stop the radio stations from coming up when you play "songs" on shuffle. When you select songs, all the radio stations are included in as songs. Has anyone succesfully configured their ipods to work around this?

Well, it won't change frequencies just by playing the file. You need to pause it in the middle to change.
But that doens't mean its not annoying to hear 5 seconds of beeps every once and a while.
If you like to play all of your music on shuffle, just create a smart playlist that is Artist is not Griffin Technology and sync it to your iPod. Then just play that list to go through all of your music without the frequency files.
