If I used the Belkin Auto Adapter with the Line Out to plug my iPod into my direct AUX plug on my JVC CAr deck? Would it provide any noticeable sound other than just plugging into the headphone port? Thanks,

On my car stereo the sound with the Belkin Auto Kit is -much- better than with the headphone port. Even with the iPod volume on full, I had to turn up the volume on the head unit a lot higher than normal when using the headphone port. When using the Belkin's line out, the sound is cleaner and much louder. Delroy666

i've achieved better bass response using the belkin auto adapter. however in my case, the belkin adapter picked up ground noise when it was plugged into the lighter. it's easy to solve this problem. i wired the adapter to a clean power source. you can also use a ground loop isolater. other than that, sound quality improved greatly.boister77 at 2007-11-15 16:07:41 >
