PowerPod Auto Charger

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know if anyone has used the Griffin Technology PowerPod Auto Charger. I have a G3 10GB iPod and would like to know if it is any good? Does the powerPod protect against any spikes like the Belkin one does? How often would a spike occur in your car anyways?

A small review of the PowerPod would be nice, you know to get other people's thoughts on it.

Thanks,

I think I'd be right to say the only time a spike is likely to occur in a car is when you start the engine - and I would imagine that Griffin would protect against them as Belkin does.

I use a Belkin Auto Charge and connecting the3.5mm jack from the back of my car stereo increase the volume massively compared to if I plug it straigth into the ipod.

This is probably an advantage over the other brands of autocharger

The Griffin PowerPod works on both Gen2 and Gen3 iPods. You just take your firewire/dock cables and plug it to the firewire port of the adapter.
