new iPod firewire converter??

I'd like to see a very small adapter that connects to the dock port and changes it to a six-pin firewire port. I always carry a firewire cable with my laptop, for video editing use. if I had a little firewire adapter, I could just carry it, as well. As it stands, i'd have to buy another one of Apple's dock connector to firewire cords and carry that with my laptop. I'd rather just carry a little adapter to use with my exisiting cable.
