Add an Aux-In to your Car Stereo

Howdy,

Someone actually mentioned this elsewhere before, but I thought I'd make it a bigger point just because I never knew it was a possibility until his post...

You can install an Aux-In adapter in most car stereos! No more crappy FM Transmitter hassles! To my limited knowledge on the subject, seems these devices work with any stereo that has a CD Changer control. You can get adapters that will even work if you have a CD Changer installed. The following website has many adapters to choose from:

I got one for my Honda for $50 and I can't wait to install it. Anyway, just thought I'd give this solution another mention since I wish I heard about before I ever bought that crappy iRock.

Cheers!

hey spacecowboy2071 - check out two of my posts in this thread for details and links for aux connection to my honda factory stereo:

Hopefully this will help you with your installation.

check out www.installdr.com for step-by-step instructions too. My installation in my '99 Accord V6 coupe took me about one half hour and the iPod sounds just as good as my CD player (assuming you have high quality mp3s - I rip with EAC and encode using LAME 3.90.2 -alt-preset extreme).

Good Luck!

Anyone have any luck finding an adapter for a 2003 Civic? It seems that the ones I have found so far only go up to 2002.

Thanx a bunch SandMan! I was going to go on a web hunt tonight for something like that. That's an awesome resource!

Cheers!
