Boston iTrippers
So I just got my iTrip today from Apple and so far it's been an okay ride. Installation and set-up was easy and the only bumps have been finding a good reception.
Held inside my hand, the iTrip gets really good reception, about the same as any strong radio station. About 15 feet away inside my hand, reception remained the same.
Placed on top of the radio inside my room, the iTrip gets really good reception, same as above.
However, once I placed the iPod down on a table or something, reception sucked big time. I could go about as far as 3 feet before the iTrip just lost the signal. But like I said before, inside my hand, 3 feet would have been fine... however, that's just practical and I can't really imagine anyone driving at the same time like that.
So far, I've been using 101.3 and 101.5... haven't been able to find any other frequencies really. These frequencies work fine inside my hand and on top of the radio, however, on a table, it's a no go. I guess this is still a step up from wires.
If anyone else has any ideas, let me know!
