Burning with CD-Text

anyone have any tips-- I tried to use this and while the CD-Text worked for the first track- subsequent tracks had all garbled text.
Anyone use this feature and know some tricks? Nothing in the help guide on this subject.
Thanks

Ddid you try going into options when you try to burn? If you go in there, there is a box you can check to have it write cd text. That should work.

CD text is the actual song information.

I'm saying when I check the CD-Text, it comes out like garbage-- I was wondering if there was somewhere within MC9 that I could possibly edit what was going to show up in CD-Text, as the one time that I did it, it was a disaster!

Adam- some cd players read CD-Text and in doing so, display the name of the song as it is playing. It's great when it works and I was excited to try it within MC9 as I don't think any other "jukebox" offers this feature.

Hmm...that's really weird--I burn mp3 Cd's all the time for my car, and it (my car mp3 player) always displays the text as a stream--very cool--there's no reason for this not to work for CDs, if it works for mp3--I'd post it over at JRiver..

Yeah I don't have a problem with it. That does sound odd.

I have the garbled text problem intermittently - about 2 CDs in 4.

I've posted it as a possible bug at the Jriver forum - no reply/comment from anyother user with a similar problem sadly so it may be an isolated issue for a few unlucky souls.

Well it started with mine last night. All of my cd's that I had burned, I had to look up the song info on the net. It's a pain.

For what it's worth, CD Text is a standard for embedding track/artist/album info in AUDIO CDs, not MP3 CDs. It's supported by a few recent CD players.

I've been reasonably successful in burning audio CDs with CD Text info, but it does not look like you can edit the info, it just uses the tag data.
