MC9 / Audible question??

If you use MC9 for Audible files for your iPod, do you still have to use AudibleManager or can you download the Audible files directly from the website into your MC9 file folder?

My interest in MC9 would be to simplify by condensing from two apps required to use my iPod (MMJB Plus AudibleManager) to one (MC9). If I get MC9, can I uninstall the other two completely, or will I still need AudibleManager to download Audible files?

Any help appreciated in advance.

Sorry, para, as you might know I don't do Audible. There are a few folks there that do. You might also want to post on the Jriver MC9 board, on the "Post iPod Support" thread. Lots of Audible folks there.

You might get a response there quicker, not sure.

Adam, I just went ahead and sprang for MC9. Setup went real swell so I can't wait to give it a test run later.

So far, I imported all my mp3 and Audible files and hooked up to the iPod.

So far, its definately very impressive. I'm beginning to see why you rave about it!

And hopefully I can figure out all the Audible related stuff and help everyone here with that.

WOOT! Nice para. We need some more Audible experts here. And if you find anything weird, make sure to post it to the iPod thread at JRiver.. ;)

Thanks! If you have any questions, just let us know...

Well I spoke a little too soon.

I got through the download, install and music import OK, but once I started transferrring to the iPod, nothing but problems.

I reformatted, initialized, created a playlist with all my MP3 files and transferred it to iPod. It transferred, but now MC9 won't read the iPod and everytime says "unable to read database, pls rebuid...: which I've done twice. That didn't solve it so I started the whole process over with no luck. I can do a sync but as soon as its done, i get the same can't read database problem, and then I can't transfer anything. I've got almost four hours into this and thats just trying to get my MP3 files going. Haven't even thought about Audible yet.

I posted over at MC9 board already. Anyone here any ideas?

UPDATE: Adam, just got your reply on MC9 board. Thanks. I will proceed accordingly.
