Real Frustration

Okay,

Now I am starting to get seriously annoyed.

Just bought my new 3rd Gen IPOD, and i don't know if it's the software or what, but i'm getting annoyed.

I'm using MMJB, and everytime i want music on there, the IPOD manager is saying my IPOD is empty, it's not it filled with 13GB. MMJB isn't even seeing it.

What's the best software combination and why is it so buggy.

Will we see patches for all of this?

this isn?t a direct solution to your problem, but try some other software. nearly everyone on these fora dislikes mmjb. i use ephpod ( http://www.ephpod.com). it?s simple and it?s free. i?m moving this to the mmjb section.

I've been using it for about 2 months now. I chose it because it does everything, all in one app. I have no doubt that ephpod, EAC/LAME and some of the others are great too (and free), but unless I misunderstood, they don't include all functions. If you're a sophisticated user, you can probably use them and save some $. If you're not (like me), MC9 is worth the $40, and you get extremely good, very fast support from J.River.
I did try Win Media Player 9 and MMJB, MC9 is far better IMO.
FWIW...

No, Media Center 9 doesn't exploit the FULL functionality of the ipod. For example, you can't added contact lists with it OR added notes and stuff...so all in all I believe that Ephpod is the best software (on pc until ITunes for pc that is) for the IPod on windows...
