How to delete multiple identical albums

I discovered that I had changed the album name on my computer to make it more concise and what is not apparent is that ephpod will only continue to read what the album tag was originally and therefore i had to re rip the album with new name and resync and this seemed to work....what ever happened to the simplicity of creating and moving folders and selecting from folders like archos...this is much less tedious and complex than this pain in the ###...once you know the gig though, you learn to use proper album tags from the start to avoid this crap...thanks
