Help please!
I've been trying to update my library for the past 2 weeks but I cant seem to be able to do it. Everytime I add new songs to my folder, MC9 doesnt seem to update the playlist, hence making it a problem for me to sync with the ipod. Someone pls guide me!

Not sure what you mean by adding new songs to "my folder". MC9 doesn't have a "watch folders" like some other programs. That is a bummer, but it doesn't.
If you add new tunes to your PC, you need to import them into MC9. Click on File>Library>import media. Navigate to where the new tunes are and click Import. Then go to the "Recently Imported" auto-smartlist to see the tunes. You can fix up their properties, rename them etc through there.

I have also found that if you have MC9 as your default player, which I now do, if you double click on an odd song that you may have downloaded, it plays it in MC9 and then automatically adds it to the library and your playlists.

You use explorer to transfer songs over to where? Not to the iPod right?
If you have a download folder for some program, what I recommend is the following:
After downloading tunes, open up MC9. Import media, but have it search your download folder. It'll import those tunes.
Next, using MC9 fix the tags on all the tunes you just downloaded. Get artist, album, track# and track name all fixed the way you want them.
Then, in MC9, highlight all the tunes that you just imported and fixed. Right click them and select Library Tools>Rename files From Properties.
A dialog box will come up that will let you choose your Base Directory (where you keep all your tunes) and the directory rules (e.g. Artist/Album) and file naming convention.
Select from the list of presets or create your own. Use whatever you use as your organization rules.
Click OK. MC9 will rename (essentially moving) the files from the download directory to your Music directory. All nice and neat.
This way you don't have to bound from explorer etc. You download folder will be emptied as the tunes you just downloaded will have been moved for you.
Works great. As a rule I never use anything but MC9 to organize my tunes. I just let it do the work for me.
