Merging Tracks
Hello,
Basically I have a few CD'S which are compilation mixes and they automatically go into each song without stopping after the track ends, however when you load them on the ipod there is the inevitable pause whilst it skips tracks.
Does anyone out there no of a way I can stop this problem.
(i do know you can buy software which merges tracks but i would rather stay away from that)

I've got a bunch of segued CD's too. I find best option is to accept that "mixes" aren't iPod territory, and set MMJB Recorder to do a 2 second fade in with 6 second fade out to allow the tracks to play "naturally" (especially when on random mode). Not exactly ideal. Another alternative is to use an audio software package like ACL to rip the CD as a single (but very long!) file. Have tried this, but prefer the random play to uninterrupted lengthy mixes. The choice, as they say, is yours. :-)
