Newbie Ephod 2 Help

Okay, I have a new 30 gig iPOD on my Windows XP computer. I have the MusicMatch software, which I use to rip CD's, and manage my playlist, and have been using Ephpod to sync - because it is sooooo much faster. I only have about 8 gig used so far. Here are my questions/observsations:

Ephpod 2 is called Sync & Quit. It automatically closes as soon as its done. Any way I can get it to stay open so I can change settings, etc.? Diff versions of Ephpod?

If I sync with music already on my iPOD - it creates doubles of about one third of my CD's - very annoying. But, if I wipe the iPOD clean of all music - then sync - it all comes out ok. But, who wants to wait 40 mins (for 8 gig) to just add a few songs? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

This is strange. Have never heard of this happening before.

This is a bug in the software. You're just going to have to deal with it if you keep using the sync. What I do is whenever I get new songs ripped, I just use the add songs button so that I don't get duplicates.
