Switching Laptops. Will Ephpod Delete or Change my Database?
I've been using my brother's laptop to load my songs onto my 3G 30gb ipod using ephpod. Now having my own laptop I was wondering when I first connect to ephpod on my comp, are all my songs going to dissappear or get changed in any way?
Also, I'm travelling at the moment and don't have the ipod install cd with me. Does anyone know where I can dl it. And does that affect the database on my ipod in any way?
Thanks,
Nick.

First off, nothing will get deleted from your ipod. Remember, ephpod only sees what's on your iPod, so there's nothing there on you PC for it to look at.
If you did a sync and if you had the delete files option checked, then it would delete the songs on your iPod. But that's the only way.
Regarding the install CD. You don't need anything on that CD on your computer. Just plug in the iPod and run ephpod. Nothing else is required (and indeed it's better to leave the apple software off of your PC--except the Updater, that's always handy to have around).
