Hello everybody,

I am new here and not yet a professional on my ipod, but that doesn't mean I am a complete idiot :) ipod version 2.0.1, 10GB

I have a problem though: MM jukebox seems to work nicely when the MP3s it should transfer to the ipod are stored locally on the disk and PC where the ipod is connected to. But it does not seem to like it when I try to transfer my MP3s from my FreeBSD file server via samba/windows network share.

I can add any MP3 from the network share folder on the file server to "My Library", edit the tags, lookup tags, etc, everything works greatly!

sending files from that Library to the ipod does not work, however. MM jukebox shows that a transfer is going on, shows which files are currently transferred and how big they are, etc. but they simply do not show up on the ipod. they do not consume space on the ipod either.

this is quite an annoyance, since i use windows only on my laptop and it has no space for 10 gigs worth of MP3s. is this a known problem? a problem with the ipod plugin for MM jukebox? or a problem with jukebox itself? should I try another software? ephod?

any input would be appreciated!
