Another newbie question (or two)
First, I've seen quite a few screenshots of people's MC9 mega me view where it shows the album cover art of the currently playing track down in the lower left hand corner (near the player controls). How do I get this to show up? FYI - I've not yet replaced the stable version with the beta version, in case that matters.
Second, I'm having difficulty installing the Brushed Metal mega me skin that was discussed here a while back. I PM'd a couple people looking for advice but have not yet heard anything back regarding the issue. I d/l the file, unzipped the contents then moved them to the appropriate J River folder (as instructed in the original thread) but still no luck. The Brushed Metal folder doesn't appear as an option in the mega me skin manager for some reason. When I go to Windows Explorer it show the Brushed Metal folder as being inside the Mega Me folder, but like I said it doesn't show up in the skin manager. I got the mimi me skin of brushed metal to work without any problems what-so-ever, but the mega me is somewhat of a puzzler. Any tips?
Regards,
Jason

OK, I don't remember if it works the same in 9.0 or not. But to get the album art to show in the lower left corner, just click on the down arrow that appears at the bottom of that window. A menu should come up w/different options. One is "Image" select that. Alternatively, you can click the left and right arrows. They will cycle you through the options (playlists, properties, file info, images)
Regarding the Brushed Metal skin, it' only works in the 9.1 version.
I think it's very stable now. Probably more stable than the 9.0.180 version because they stopped working on that version and have been putting all development into 9.1 Any bugs that were in 9.0 aren't getting touched, they're getting fixed in 9.1 (if that makes any sense).

Adam,
I can't seem to find the illusive "down arrow" you're referring to near the player control area. Maybe I'm just blind or not even looking in the right place. Regardless, since I've read a lot of positive feedback about MC9.1, maybe I'll just grab that and say farewell to 9.0.
What's the best way to go from 9.0 to 9.1?

Well it's there, not sure about in 9.0 though. One thing, if you don't see it, you might need to adjust your panes. On the left pane, look at the bottom, there should be a bar there, mouse over and and if it turned into an up/down arrow, it means you can move that border to show the properties window. That's the window where album art will show when you change it. See below

I still cannot find what it is you mentioned so I'm left to assume that this feature is only available in the MC9.1.xxx beta versions. Unless it's specific to certain skins, in which case I'll mention that I still only have the default skins given to you when you d/l the program.
Not a big deal if I can't figure it out right now, but maybe sometime in the future I'll revisit the topic and somebody can walk this moron through it. You attached jpeg was a nice touch and I should have been able to find what it was you were asking me to look for but I couldn't. No cursor change when pointing around down in the lower left hand corner near the player controls.. As a matter of fact, my lower left hand corner looks MUCH different than the picture you sent, so I'm wondering if we're talking about the same area - Mine just has the Track Tile/Artist, and then all the buttons (Play, Stop, FF, Rew, etc.).
Anyway, unless you have any other ideas I thank you again for you help.
P.S. - How did you capture that picture as a jpeg (or gif or whatever it is)? It may be helpful for me to learn how to do that when explaining problems similar to this in the future.
