Deleting songs from MMJB w/o deleting from iPod when synching?
Anyway, I recently bought a 3rd gen. 15GB iPod. My computer that I normally use, which has sufficient hard drive space, is being fixed, so when I got my iPod, I really didn't want to wait to start using it, obviously. So my family computer had to do for now. Problem is, it only has 6GB (yes, 6, lol) of disk space. That obviously limits the amount of music I can have on the computer, since about 5GB was already taken up by other apps, programs, etc. So, I have about 1GB of music on my iPod right now. I am using the basic MusicMatch Jukebox software that came with my iPod. My question is this:
Can I delete songs that I have recorded (from cds) onto MMJB, without deleting the songs on my iPod? Because I tried to do that once--I deleted an album from MMJB, then when I plugged my iPod into the dock, it automatically synchs, and it took the album that I had deleted from MMJB likewise off my iPod.
If there is a way, I would greatly appreciate someone telling me, because if there is, I can keep recording my cd's onto MMJB, put them on my iPod, delete cd nfrom MMJB, repeat process. Again, this wouldn't really be a big deal, except that the lack of enough hard drive space leaves me with no other way.
Thanks,
Dan
