Quick Question...

Hi, i was just editing some track names that i've just burned and i noticed that after i've selected tag in musicmatch that there is a section for Preference... what does this mean? If i edit all the preferences for my 1500 songs then will my iPod play my fave tunes more often than the rubbish tunes on random play? as i use random play a lot so this would be brilliant if true?
