Recovery of Albums from IPOD Upgrade
I have just upgraded from a 20 gig to a 30 gig version 2 Ipod. I had over 250 CD's on the version one Ipod. Is there a way to transfer or recover those cd's and install them into the new Ipod. My other dilema is that I have ereased them form the "my music" folder on my hard drive to free up space... I also have Xplay software but it does not seem to work. I am just trying to save burning all of those CD's again.
Thanks in Advance

If you can get Xplay to work, you can just drag and drop the songs from the Xplay window to an Explorer window.
One thing to try to get it to work would be to make sure you have Firewire Disk Mode enabled in iPod manager
Check out the forums at MediaFour, they are very good.

I have done that. I dragged all of the songs from xplay over to the my music folder in explorer. The albums are in the xplay format though. When I connect the IPOD it does not recognize them. Is there a way to change them to wav or mp3 format?
Thanks

You lost me there. What does the "albums are in the xplay format" mean?
Have you checked the Xplay help file? I'm sure the instructions to do this are in there...
