Music Store for Windows Users
I read a news blurb today that said that Buy.com will launch a download pay-per-track music service next Tuesday.

Awesome--and there's more on the way by the end of the year. Does anyone have a link with further info?

Every music store for windows is .wma files. That ia absoultely worthless for the ipod. You cant convert them to mp3 because they have drm features. Plus, you wouldnt want to convert because the sound quality would be horrible
i do want to have a chance to buy songs for my ipod, thus far the riaa has given us windows/ipod users no options. imagine that, the riaa not being "consumer friendly"

It's not about consumer friendly since the riaa doesn't want songs sold individually. They love the concept of the monthly subsription services and will do anything they can to help the pay per tune services to fail.
