MMJP problem - similar but different

OK so i go to the trouble of organising my 20gigs of tunes into playlists

sync playlists to ipod

what seems like a day or two later i go to the ipod and pick a playlist

tunes are there, 80% in correct order, 20% random order within some playlists, others fine

really annoying because [like most ipodders] i take pride in my selection and dont want the MMJP to alter the smooth flow of my BPM

is this dumb software or dumber user?
