help with .m3u files please

Im sick and tired of having all my playlists being erased by ephpod, and then having to redo them all over again, since the ephpod playlists cannot be saved in the computer.

I know that ephpod can import .m3u winamp playlists, problem is i have NO idea how this works. Will the playlist be just imported, or also the corresponding songs? Do I have to recopy all my mp3s again? What about filenames and tags, do these have any effect? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

And I also have received advice to switch to MC9 coz that can save playlists, but i dont want to, i want to stick to good old ephpod. I just wanna know how the importation of .m3u playlists works. Thanks in advance!

Just create your .m3u playlists, ephpod will create the playlist on the iPod and if the songs don't already exist on the iPod it'll upload them.

Simple really. As far as tags, that's no different than with any other songs you upload. Just make sure your tags are OK.
