There's no change in the program you use to upload tunes to you iPod. It's just a different connection protocal. Windows will handle everything. You iPod will show up as an external drive just like it does w/firewire.

Adam,
Problem:
I have a Laptop with no Firewire connection and MMJB that came with my 30GB IPod crashes constantly. I LIKE XPlay on a friends machine with firewire, but I'm NOT going to go to my friends house everytime I want to change music...
Do you think that The makers of ephPod or XPlay will incorporate USB2.0 support? I hope so.

Here is a message straight from Annabel.
Is XPlay compatible with the new iPod model and USB 2.0?
Yes!
With the release of XPlay v1.1.3 you can now use XPlay with all models of the iPod via FireWire or USB 2.0.
If you're a current user of XPlay and would like to update to XPlay 1.1.3 visit our Update page to download the latest release.

If you have problems with xPlay then head on over to http://forums.mediafour.com/ and post your problem. Annabel is usually pretty quick to post answers and I know if the problem is really bad that she will have one of the tech support people call you at home so that they can talk you through the problem over the phone.

yes, ephpod just requires that your ipods shows up as a drive (therefore disk mode must be enabled), it doesn't matter if you connect the ipod via firewire, usb 2.0, or parrallel port. ;)
