Help!

I just tried connecting to my Ipod today with my laptop. I am using ephPod ver. 2.58. When I opened the program, I saw no songs listed although I had just used it yesterday and it had plenty of songs. The usage indicator at the bottom left of the ephPod program says that the disc has some information on it but I cannot access it even with the unit unplugged from the computer. I tried rebooting the unit but all to no avail. I have recently updated to the new Ipod software, but the unit was working fine yesterday. I am running ephPod 2.70 on my home computer, but I was able to communicate with the unit with my laptop before I left on vacation so I don't think the problem is there.

# 1 Re: Help!
I found out how to recover my data. I was able to go under Ipod tools menu in ephPod and clicked on "Probe Ipod for Lost Music". This was able to find the music I had on the unit. The unit had been reading 0 songs when I went under the settings menu but it showed part of the disc filled. I was not able to see anything listed under artists or albums or anything. How I got to that position I am not really sure, but fortunately I was able to recover.
