Things going downhill fast- now I cant burn CDs...
I've been having all kinds of problems with MC9 after 3 weeks of glitch free use. Now after I que up songs to be burned I run into a problem- When I go to CD, DVD & Handhelds and open the E: drive I get a box where you would normally have an error message...but it's blank!? All I see is a red circle with an X in it and the typical "close" option. None of the songs that I had queued up are showing. What's going on?

Quick correction- the above problem occurs when I try to upload songs to the Ipod, not when burning. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried synching your songs to the ipod? Try this and see what happens (Right Click on your ipod drive when the ipod is connected, pick synchronize, select the playlists you want to transfer, and click "OK" {don't click "select all"}.
If you don't have any playlists, make a smartlist--title it All MP3 or something like that--it will have all your mp3's in it; use this to synch, and see what happens..

Chris- I followed your lead and now my songs show on E: Drive in MC9 (including the ones that I synched per your instructions) but my Ipod is empty when I disconnect. Connecting back and forth with MC9, the songs continue to show in MC9 but not on the Ipod.

Right click the iPod and select Rebuild iPod Database. It sounds like something got corrupted on your iPod's database.
