MMJBs screwing me!
I haven't had any problem with MMJB in the past. Had to restore my iPod -- losing 3500 songs, thanks very much. Thankfully, iPod is working fine now, but MMJB is acting wonky. Before, I could easily add songs via the Music Library and when they showed up on iPod, I could browse either artist or album. Now, when I hit browse, I have to scroll past two other screens that say "all," and then all my songs are there, just in a big jumbled list. I can't access anything on iPod in artist or album. I didn't do ANYTHING to MMJB or my music library and can't find anything that I should check or uncheck to make this thing work the way it did before. Anybody have any idea what the heck MMJB's doing to me?
Also, Apple support actively sucks. It's shocking, and ensures that I will never plonk down the gazillion dollars for the Mac. Not without technical support!!!
Thanks for any help...

You might want to check if your artists and albums tags are there. it seems that this is the problem.
Also i advise you to dump MMJB and use Ephpod or Xplay or MC9 or myPod or moodlogic, or whatever you want but NOT MMJB, this thing is seriously bad...

I took your suggestion and downloaded Ephpod after I just couldn't get MMJB to download the songs with album and artist, and they were tagged and EVERYTHING. Anyway, I was nervous about using Ephpod until I installed it and discovered that it used the tags I put in in MMJB. So I can still create albums in MMJB and Ephpod will use those tags! Had I but known...
Everyone who has talked Ephpod up could not be more correct! It worked right away and man, is it FAST! The only issue I had was that it wouldn't delete songs. Has anyone else had that problem? Even given that, I'm NEVER using MMJB to load songs onto iPod again! Ephpod rules!

Hi All,
Looks like your MMJB music library got courupted. I'd recommend removing all the files from your library and then re-adding them.
MMJB does suck for the v1.x.x iPods
For those who have the new v2.0 iPods MMJB (so far) seems to be 150% better. However i'm not sure how long this will last :-)
If i have any problems with it i'll let you all know.
