duplicated artists name

hey, I have the problem of "duplicated artists name" and I have been reading the threads of this problem. I came across one that said that he supertagged and that fixed his problem. does someone know what supertagged is and how to do it..thank u......ps or some other way to solve this problem

Super tagging is ,in MMJB, tagging from filename, from internet DB etc...But i think what you want to do is rather to edit all the "artist" fields of all the songs of one artist at the same time. For example select all songs from the smashing pumpkins or whatever, right click, click on edit tgs, check the artist box and type in the artists' name. As they're all edited at the same time, all the songs will have exactly the same name and you won't have twice the same artist in your list.
