Can two mp3 files/songs be permanently merged?
Any way in MC9 or in general to merge songs/tracks so they always play together? As an example, Intruder and Pretty Woman (Van Halen) should always play one after another IMHO. Of course when I select artist or either song gets sucked into a playlist, it's all random. Any way to make them one mp3?

You can merge the mp3's into a single track with software app's specifically for that. I don't think you can do it with MC9 itself though; you're going to need a different application to modify it. Someone just posted a link to software that will do this, and for the life of me, I can't find it. I want it to--to cut off the ends of some songs--like the end of "A Day in the Life" that goes on for like 30 minutes, and contains stuff inaudible to the human ear (like a dog whistle, etc. How's that for useless Beatle trivia?).

mp3trim (http://www.logiccell.com/~mp3trim/) is what I used for this purpose. As far as I know, it will not provide the ability to merge two mp3 files, however.
Hope this helps you out.

I use a program called mp3 trackmaker:
