which program for extracting audio from cd?
Hi,
i used to make my mp3 using NERO, but with my new 3 gen ipod my mp3 sound low because of the cap.
So, i wanna make louder mp3. Which programs do you use? don't wanna use nero+mp3gain, i want a program that lets me choose the volume BAFORE making the mp3...

Are you using a PC, or a Mac? This kind of question should be posted in the Windows - Software or Mac - Software forum, for the best results.

Well, since both Nero and MP3Gain are Windows programs, I'm going to assume he is looking for other Windows software and move this thread accordingly......

I got a Win PC 2.6 Ghz and I use CDex!

It gives you the best results beause the sound is reduced to best listening. I mean the gain ia done automatically!
Try this!
As a Codex I use Lame 3.93 (it is the last version! geat results in combination with CDex!)

using this program mp3 can be hear loud with 3 generation ipod?
with nero mp3 db level is 90 db more or less. I've used musicmatch and is almost the same 90-95 db.
if i puto more db, distorsion can be heard in Ipod.
Don't know what to do, my mp3s volume is low becaufe o european ipod volume cap...
