Help with iPod File management, please!

I have two questions:

1. I want to organize long audio CDs of the Bible on CD that I have already ripped to AAC format into 64 parts (one from each CD) 16 New Testament, 48 Old Testament. Can I create a playlist holder or something that I can name OT or NT and put each part together so that they don't have to be separate? I mean, can I put playlists that I have created for each of the discs I ripped into a new single playlist?

2. Can I take my iPod and back up files FROM IT to my iBook? How can I do this?

Thanks. I am new to the iPod.

Not quite sure I understand the question. Are you asking if you can create sub-playlists within a playlist like this:

OT -->
Genesis

Or are you just wnating to know if you can put every file into one single playlist?

To move files from the iPod to your hard drive, try PodMaster (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12706) or Import Selected Tracks to iTunes (http://www.malcolmadams.com/itunes/scripts/scripts08.shtml#impselipodtracks).

1. Perhaps you could set the Genre to "Old Testament", the Album to "Genesis", and the Song to the chapter?
