Songs Getting Cut Off

I just noticed this yesterday during a quiet moment at work. The last second of songs are getting cut off when I sync with MC9. I first noticed it on Flogging Molly's "Cruel Mistress" track. The last word get's mangled before the iPod switches to the next track. When I got home I checked the track and it's fine. I resent the album with ephpod and it was AOK. So I went back to MC9 and synced again (after restoring my pod) and I'm noticing the problem again. If the track fades out to silence you'd never know there was a problem. If the music goes right up to the end it's very noticable.

I just saw someone posted about this same problem over at Jriver. Maybe I should register for those forums and put this over there too. Anyone else hearing this?

I'm using a 5GB iPod (1.2.6) with the latest version of MC9 9.0.180 (not the beta).

When I get home tonight I'm going to check the version of my Pod plugin. Maybe that's the culprit.

Do post it over on the forums at JRiver. There's an iPod Support thread that you should add it to. Steve'll check into it. I've never noticed it. I've got a gen3 iPod, maybe that's the issue. But it shouldn't happen since you're using the same file w/2 different uploading programs.

Looks like updating to the latest iPod plug in did the trick. The plug in is up to 9.0.32 (dated 06/19/2003). Haven't heard a cut off during continous play yet.

I'd still recommend keeping ephpod around for any unforseen bugs. It's a life saver. :-)

I had the same problems occasionally throughout my MJ8/MC9 Ipod plugin experiences. It is usually fixed with a restore and an upgrade to the latest plugin. But I will confirm the same experiences, especially the switch to Ephpod fixing the bug.
