Adjusting volume when copying to iPOD

Is it worth using the MMJB adjust the volume levels setting when transferring to the IPOD ? Is there any reduction in quality ?

I've never used mm to do that. I've always used mp3gain to adjust the volume on my mp3's.

yea, thats the program i was going to use but i never had to. the music on my pod is plenty loud. the only thing i really use MM for is ID3 tags and wav converting when i burn stuff. even when i play files on my comp its with real player
