Is it possible to copy tags from Media Cente XP to MC9?

Is it possible to copy tags from Media Cente XP to MC9?

This doens't make sense to me but I found that on some CD's, MC-XP can read the CD name and tracks whereas MC-9 can not (YADB returns a blank.) So is it possible to do a copy from XP over to MC-9 to fill in the album name and track information?

Thanks.

The reason one gets a hit on your CD and the other doesn't is that both programs use different databases to look up the album information.

What I'd do is just pull up the album info from www.allmusic.com and enter the tags manually in MC9 if you don't get a hit on the album in YADB (MC9's database).

Or, you could rip your tunes w/WMP and then import them into MC9, but I wouldn't recommend that as MC9 uses a much better encoder than does WMP.

Actually...

Windows XP Media Center Edition uses Windows Media Player's library for all of it's data.

If it's in XP-MC then it's in WMP.

hehe, sorry, I made the assumption he was talking about WMP, not Media Center XP, even though he said that. ;)
