Being a gamer, I got the feeds from Shacknews and Blue's News.

Note that in addition to searching (good for if you know a site has a feed but not the URL) you can click "Categories" at the top.

Once you find a feed you like, get the address of the feed (copy the link that the "XML" button links to) and goto Configure EphPod. From there find where you choose new feeds, click Edit Feeds (I believe it is) and give the feed a name and paste in the URL. Click download news and you're done!

It will split it upon multiple contacts if it is very lengthy.
