iPod wont stay connected after unisnstall of MJ9
Installed MJ9 last night and played around with it...I really like it except I decided to wait until iTunes Windows becomes available before shelling out any $$$ for iPod software.
I removed MJ9, restored the iPod and transferred all my songs to my iPod before going to sleep. Everything was totally fine this morning until I removed the iPod without unmounting it...now my 30GB iPod will not stay connected...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Try uninstalling all of the apple software. I know this is a pain, especially if you eventually need to reformat. I have a 3g 30 gig with was working fine, one day it started mounting and unmounting by itself. I called apple and was told that my firewire card was incompatible. I explained that the computer was delivered with the firewire card and wins xp installed. I read a thread on this forum somebody had the same problem, I uninstalled the apple software and mm, the problem disappeared. Give it a try, worst comes to worst it doesn't take that long to reinstall the software.
