Intresting Problem
So if I ever have to do a restore I won't be able to just sync a whole folder cause I will have the problems with the tags that I originally had...Yikes...

I finally have things working smoothly on my machine (knock on wood) but I just realized something. Since I have had many taggin issues I have just fixed all my tags in Ephpod as I have noticed the errors. But now I hear that this just chages the tags in Ephpod not on you actual PC...Hmmm

Why can't you just fix all the tags on the files themselves ? ephpod will only fix the iPod tags, not the mp3 tags.use one of the many free mp3 ID tag editors out there; and fix the problem once and for all.
(edited) I just read in another post, below, that ephPod can write the tags into the files.

Yah it can, just check the box. If you edit the tags through the shortcuts (f2, f4 ect...) then there is an option somewhere in the prefrences to write that to file too.sammermpc at 2007-11-15 17:23:28 >

Yes, but this will only update the tags of the mp3 files that are on your ipod. But of course you can download the songs from your iPod onto your hd to get id3 tagged files both on your iPod and on your HD...however I think there are easier methods than this...Pierugg
