Where to get a free copy of Macopener?

Can anybody send me a free copy of Macopener...my trial period has run out and ephpod won't work anymore.
Or, are we forced to pay the $40.
I'm using Win 98SE so I think I need it.
Thanks

Why are you using macopener? It is not needed if you are using your ipod on a windows computer.

When I start Ephpod it says..."Ephpod cannot read your ipod drive. Check to see if your drive reading software has expired."

It was working fine during the trial period.

I'm using Ephpod 2.7a with Win 98SE.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I think you downloaded the wrong version. Ephpod for windows does not require macopener.

First: If you need the program, buy it. $40 is a small price to pay for the hard work that they've done coding it.

Second: Don't ask for pirated software on these forums. Your posts can be edited or deleted and you can be banned. This is not a warez forum; if you want a warez forum, go find a warez forum.

Third: Check the "About" page on the iPod itself. If it says "Format: Windows" you do NOT need Macopener.

Note that Ephpod will tell you that you need Macopener whether or not you really do. It doesn't know what format your iPod is. When it was first created, ALL iPods were Mac iPods and therefore the only way to use one on a PC was via Macopener. They just haven't taken that statement out of their setup wizard yet.
