Found something thought Id share

I don't know if this is already known, so if it is please forgive me. My PC has two cd drives a cd/dvd reader and a cd burner. I've found when using mc9 if you load a cd in each drive, let mc9 find the cds in the database, click on cd,dvd and handheld, both cds come up, if you click on rip cd, both cds will be ripped! One after the other, thought that this was cool.

Also is there any way to tell mc9 to go to another database for cd lookup? Like freedb?

yeah thats a great question dmarcus48, i would love to use another db, because sometimes it doesnt recognize an album and that album can be pretty #### popular....although it did recognize some albums that were not recognized on any other media player...like a sampler cd i was so suprised when it recognized it all....but yeah it would be great if were able to use another db

Nice post dmarcus--I didn't know it would do that--always wanted to try it for s and g's, but never got around to it.

Yadb is loosely based on freedb. But you can't directly access freedb via mc9...They are working hard on yadb, and for that reason you won't be able to use a different database. But I haven't had yadb miss on a disc in over a month now...
