MM response on availability of v8.0 plugin

DETAIL
======

Just wondering if you could advise when the iPod plug-in will be available for MMJB v8.0. Also if you can offer any further information on the scope of the changes to the plug-in as many of us iPod users have had trouble with the original plug-in''s.

Thanks for your help and assistance.

Hello,

I apologize for the difficulty you are experiencing using MusicMatch Jukebox.

Unfortunately, iPod plugin for MusicMatch Jukebox is not currently compatible with the 8.0 release of MusicMatch Jukebox. We are working to resolve this issue, but at this time you will need to revert to the 7.5 or 7.1 Apple OEM version of MusicMatch Jukebox to use the device with our software. Before reinstalling the 7.5 or 7.1 version of MusicMatch Jukebox you should uninstall the 8.0 version using the "Add/Remove Programs" or "Add or Remove Programs" control panel, depending on the version of Windows installed on your system. If you do not have the 7.50.3103 release of MusicMatch Jukebox, you may want to use that version of the software as it is very stable. This version is available for download from the following link:

http://partners.musicmatch.com/archive/mmsetup_7.50.3103_ENU.exe

You can use the registration key for MusicMatch Jukebox to unlock the Plus version features in the Basic version of the software. Use the "Help > Registration > Enter Key" menu command to enter the key into the software. If you are installing the 7.5 version, you can then use the "Options > Add new features" menu command to download and install the latest iPod plugin for MusicMatch Jukebox 7.5. The 7.1 Apple OEM version of MusicMatch Jukebox that comes with the iPod includes this plugin so it will be installed automatically if you are reinstalling the software from the original installation CD. Once the Plugin is installed, please restart your computer before connecting your iPod to the system.

We apologize for this inconvenience, but we hope to have a solution available to this situation in the near future.

Kind regards,
Shannon
