I've been reading up on ipodlounge, and I've seen people refer to various things such as "lame" and "level controller". I would assume that these programs/applications make for better sound/compression for your mp3s. I was just wondering what programs you guys would suggest to use before I transfer my songs to my ipod in order to get the best possible sound/compression rate possible (or for that matter, when i'm listening on my computer).
